Challenges Faced
The products Woodtrend sell cannot fit into a standard e-commerce model. They required heavy customisation and redevelopment of the product purchase logic. Product pages use custom fields and mathematical formulae running in the background to calculate key details like price and dimensions needed to complete the purchase, doing all the heavy lifting so customers get a simple, easy way to shop.
The portal also has an advanced shipping module based on product types, shapes, volumetric weight and pallet sizes. It was a complex development, and our Sayu dev team delivered a highly efficient system to meet the demands of the project.
