What is Sayu CSS?
Following the EU antitrust ruling in 2018, Google has opened the door for comparison shopping sites to compete in the Google Shopping ad space in the general search results.
Google has created a programme called Comparison Shopping Services (CSS) and invited partners to join in order to increase the competition in Google’s shopping ad space. Ads from other CSS providers will now appear within Google Shopping; not just ads by Google.
Advertisers can now work with CSS partners and take advantage of a favourable reduction in the cost per click, which can be as much as 20%.
How it works
It’s very simple! Similar to Google Shopping your feed is submitted through Sayu’s CSS Merchant Centre, but crucially your ads continue to be managed and controlled via your Google Ads account.
