Running an online shop means a hundred small jobs in the admin area: checking an order, fixing a price, writing a meta description, chasing a stock figure across three screens. We've built an assistant that does that legwork with you, right inside the admin of Sayu-platform shops.
It's called Sayu Chat. You ask it questions in plain English and it answers from your shop's live data. You ask it for a change and it prepares the change for you to check. Nothing on your shop changes until you press Apply, and every change can be undone.
Sayu Chat opens beside any page of your admin. Start with a question or one of the suggestions.
What it does
Answers questions from your live shop data
Sayu Chat reads your shop's database directly, so it can answer questions that would normally mean several admin screens or a spreadsheet export:
- "Show me today's orders that haven't been dispatched."
- "Which trolleys are out of stock but still showing on the site?"
- "What were our best-selling products last month?"
- "Which blog articles mention PowaKaddy?"
Every product, order, article and category it mentions is a link straight to that record's page in your admin.
Knows the SEO plan we're working on for you
For shops where Sayu runs the SEO, Sayu Chat can see the agreed strategy and the content behind it: the keywords we're targeting and where you rank for them, which page is meant to win which search, the content plan, and the pieces we're writing for you right now.
So you can ask "Which keywords are we targeting for golf trolleys, and where do we rank?" or "What is Sayu writing for us this month?" — and when Sayu Chat writes copy for you, it builds it around the keywords in your strategy rather than guessing.
Writes and fixes meta titles and descriptions — one product or a whole category
Missing or weak meta descriptions are one of the most common problems we find on shop sites. Sayu Chat can find them and fix them in bulk:
- "Write meta descriptions for every product in Ladies Drivers that doesn't have one."
- "Rewrite the meta titles for the categories under Golf Trolleys — keep them under 60 characters."
It reads each product's own name, brand and description, writes unique copy for each one (no template with the name swapped in), keeps titles under 60 characters and descriptions to 140–155, and leaves out claims that go stale, like delivery promises or "lowest price". It fills the blank or weak ones and leaves good ones alone, unless you ask it to rewrite everything.
The result arrives as a single card listing every record, the old text and the new text with its length — you check it and apply it in one go.
Knows which page you're on
Open a product and type "add a meta description" — Sayu Chat knows you mean this product. For a single record it doesn't write to the database at all: it types the new text into the form on your screen, switches to the right tab and highlights the field, and you press the page's own Save. If you're on a different page, it opens the right one and fills it in for you.
Drafts articles in your site's own style
Ask for a buying guide or a how-to and Sayu Chat drafts it as a hidden article, laid out the way your designers build articles: a wide hero picture with the title over it, sections alternating light and dark, tables and FAQs styled to match your existing guides. It checks your content plan first, so it won't duplicate something Sayu has already written or planned.
Handles the everyday changes
Prices and sale prices, stock levels, visibility, product categories, article text and status, order status and tracking numbers, notes on orders — Sayu Chat can prepare all of these. It can't take payments, issue refunds, change order totals or delete anything; for those it tells you which admin screen to use.
Reads your files
Attach a supplier's price list in Excel, a PDF spec sheet or a screenshot of something that looks wrong — or paste an image straight in. "Update our prices from this spreadsheet" gets you a card of matched products, plus a list of any rows it couldn't match.
Safe by design
An AI assistant with access to a live shop needs firm rules. Sayu Chat's are simple:
- It never changes anything by itself. Every change is shown on a card — old value crossed out, new value beside it — and only happens when you press Apply.
- Everything can be undone. An applied card keeps an Undo button that puts every record back the way it was.
- It won't overwrite someone else's work. If a product or order has been edited since the card was prepared, Apply refuses and says why.
- Sensitive data stays out. It never shows card numbers or passwords, and files you attach stay private to you and the Sayu team supporting your shop.
- Every change is logged with who applied it and when.
Getting Sayu Chat for your shop
Sayu Chat works with shops built on the Sayu platform and appears as a ✦ Sayu Chat button in the corner of your admin. We're rolling it out shop by shop, starting in a trial mode so you can try it before it's switched on for your whole team.
